About the Club
The Italian Club meets at the Casa Italiana – Italian Cultural Center 13028 First Ave. S. Burien WA 98168, on the second Thursday of each month at 6PM. Prior to the General meeting, there is a buffet supper - with wine for adults - at $10 per person, first time guests are free.
The Italian Club has been in existence for over one hundred years. When it was originally founded, it was an organization of Italian immigrants, primarily professionals, who wanted to network and do business together.
Today, the Italian Club welcomes members of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds. All that is required is a desire to socialize with folks who have an interest in "all things Italian," i.e., Italian food, wine, & Italian music, art, history, and culture.
Many of our members are 3rd and 4th generation immigrants from all over the United States and they bring a diverse collection of Italian-American experiences to the organization.
The Italian Club hosts an entire year of activities for all age groups, from a Golf Tournament and a Day at the Races @ Emerald Downs to Christmas parties for children & adults.
A newsletter, "il Ficcanaso" is published monthly and mailed or e-mailed to each member household. It tracks the official business of the Italian Club, the social activities and other items of interest for club members. It is also available in color online, on this web page.
